  1. Have you ever tried adding Tamarind paste, for the authentic South Indian flavour? KICK ASS!

  2. This looks delicious. I might have to omit the ghee and the coconut due to cholesterol issues but it sounds really great!

  3. melistocrat- the fat in coconut is actually very beneficial, I would like to suggest you study some further sources. Same with Ghee. The benefits would far outway any potential negatives. Eating natural foods like coconut and ghee in moderation is much more beneficial than eating highly processed oils like most canola and other vegetable oils. I have based my diet on strong science. I wouldn't recommend eating anything in excess. and obviously daily exercise is the best way to insure that cholesterol issues don't show up. :)

  4. I made this tonight. I used one small onion fried in ghee as suggested, but I just fried the onion until brown to start the curry, then I added the tomatoes until soft, and then the rest of the ingredients. I couldn't find the macadamia nut oil, so I just omitted it since the ghee was enough.

I also used 1 tablespoon of tomato puree instead of the 1 tsp. Just seemed like a possible typo there. The halibut tasted amazing! Thanks for the recipe, Lori! I'll be making this one again, for sure! My son was completely blown away by how good it was! I tell you I was nearly eating the utensils while cooking the meal I was so hungry!

I was completely stuffed, and still had enough for another two people I think. Both of us had seconds.

    Thanks again.
